国家重大战略急需人才的培养具有鲜明的时代性、方向性和实践性特征。时代性代表改革更进一步、发展更高质量、创新更重原创、竞争更需主动、目标更趋逼近的新的历史时期；方向性强调到2035年实现建成教育强国、科技强国、人才强国的目标，进而推进中国式现代化；实践性突出创新在现代化建设全局中的核心地位，强调对教育、科技、人才体制机制一体改革作出统筹安排、全面部署。国家重大战略急需人才的培养，既有一般人才培养的共性，又有不同于一般人才培养的特殊性。这就要求我们坚定理想信念，增强历史担当，敢于面对世界百年未有之大变局所带来的风险挑战，遵循人才成长规律，营造良好创新创业生态。

Urgently Needed Talents for Major National Strategies in the New Era:
Conceptual Connotations, International Experiences and Cultivation Paths

Abstract: The talents urgently required for major national strategies demonstrate characteristics including national mission-orientation, frontier leadership, industrial leverage, dynamic urgency, and extraordinary cultivation requirements in the new era. From a global perspective, innovation in the models for cultivating talents urgently needed for major national strategies is of vital significance for the enhancement of comprehensive national power. As artificial intelligence has become an important driving force for a new round of sci-tech revolution and industrial transformation, as well as a key point of the global sci-tech competition, it is necessary for China to learn from international experience, including spread of professional education, integration of industry-university-research, training for management personnel and cluster of talents, for the cultivation of artificial intelligence talents, and to establish a comprehensive and practical approach that is primarily driven by the forces, including national mission, academic disciplines, industry, regions and talents, for the cultivation of talents urgently required for major national strategies.
